Siloam Center for the Blind has cooperated with the Siloam Eye Hospital in June, 2015 to dispatch a transportation clinic to the Mary Johnston Hospital in Philippines. The clinic has conducted treatment, eyesight recovery operation, and eye protection and health training to the local people. The eyesight recovery operation base hospital construction project with Mary Johnston Hospital in Philippines has been a exension of the project in 2014. The transporting clinic team has been sent to conduct eye examiniation, treatment and the surgery for cataract. Also, it has processed training to local schools about eye health. Mary Johnston hospital is located on the region of the Tone of Manila. In this region there is a landfill that the local poor peole dig recyclable materials to get a living. It is one of the world's three poor region. The Siloam Eye Hospital has donated refrigerator, surgery bed, and other items to store the 22 instrument items and 42 medicines. In 2015, more than 400 outpatients and 30 low income village inhabitants started to see the light through the help of transportation clinic. Also, the project included empowerment training for the medical crew of the eye hospital, and support of medical supplies for the poor patients to receive eye recovery surgerys. In addition, the Siloam Eye hospital plans to conduct eye recovery surgery to 88 people in Philippines until November, 2015.

Siloam Center for the Blind signed MOU with Mary Johnston Hospital and Resources for the Blind and had a donation ceremony on November 21 to support eye health and informatization of the blind. Siloam Center for the Blind provided cataract surgery materials to Mary Johnston Hospital and screen magnification software and DAISY app to RBI.
